Operation options

Please note, not all these options are available for all blinds. Only the ones shown in the options drop down selection are available for this blind.

Cordlock: 

All blinds are standard with cordlocks. Cords are pulled to the left or right to let the blind up or down and lock the position into place.

Chain Drive:

 Your Honeycomb blind can be fitted with an optional 'easy rise' chain drive (continuous looped cord) which is attached to the headrail. We recommend you add a chain drive to large blinds.

Cordless: 

 Your Honeycomb blind can come without a cord, meaning you can pull the blind up and down by hand.

Motorised:

 Your blind can be fitted with a motorised control allowing electronic control of blinds via a remote control.

Battery Operated:

 Your blind can be fitted with a battery operated control allowing electronic control of blinds via a remote control.

The Portrait battery operated blinds have a rechargeable lithium battery which can be charged using a powerbar, which can be either corded or cordless

View & Arena require 8 AA batteries.

Top down:

This means that you can have the blind stack go from the top down, allowing the top of the window to remain open with a section of the bottom covered. Available in Portrait chaindrive or motorised only.

Top down Bottom up: 

 This means that you can pull the blind up, like normal, but you could also choose to pull the blind stack down. This means that the blind can rise from the bottom of the window, covering a low section of the window, and also allow you to pull some of the blind stack down from the top, allowing a section in the middle of the window to remain open. Available in cordlock and cordless only for all ranges except Arena which has a chain drive option available (chaindrive on both sides)

Day Night: 

 Day night blinds are a two in one option, providing day time privacy either with a translucent top or sheer top and a blockout bottom. Depending on the range selected these can be cordlock, chaindrive or cordless operation only.

Angled: 

 This is for a window with angled sides. If measuring up an angled blind, just measure the maximum width and drop and we will contact you to work out the angle to cut.

Skylight: 

 These blinds can be used in a skylight window. All skylight blinds are cordless. Budget  single cell skylights have side channels. These are only available in one colour,off white side channels.   Arena,  and View skylights have guide wires and no side channels. The cost for this option depends on the width and drop measurements of the blind. View has the only motorized skylight.

Smartfit:

 Smartfit blinds are available in our Portrait range and are a cordless option that also has a top down bottom up function. This is also available as a skylight option and is priced the same as a standard cordless Portrait blind and is available in single and double cells.

Shaped:

 These blinds can be cut to a specific shape. If measuring up a shaped blind, just measure the maximum width and drop and we will contact you to work out the shape to cut.. Once ordered, we will contact you for specific details and measurements of the shape. Generally shaped or angled blind tops are non operational

Perfect Fit:

 Perfect Fit are honeycombs within a frame designed to clip on to uPvc framed tilt and turn windows . Only available in 10mm single cell fabrics. Frames are available in several uPvc colours.

Light Guard:

 Light guard is available only with Portrait Honeycombs for all cell sizes. This seals off the edges of the blind and eliminates any light bleed around the sides of the blind.  This also increases the thermal efficiency of these blinds. Only available for recess (inside) mount blinds
